Abby is a multi-award winning Osteopath, specialising in the treatment of horse and rider.
She is the two time winner of Best Equine Osteopath of the Midlands. Awarded by The Midland Enterprise Awards in 2018 and LUX Life Pet products and services awards in 2020. She was also nominated for Associate of the year from the Institute of Osteopathy in 2019.
Abby graduated from the European School of Osteopathy gaining a Masters of Osteopathy degree in 2015 and then proceeded to obtain a Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Animals trained by one of the UK’s leading animal Osteopath’s Stuart McGregor.
Abby’s passion for horses and intrigue into the human body and health directed her to a career in osteopathy, where she could work with both humans and horses. This specialist training has given her a developed knowledge in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, warranting the ability to assess and treat effectively and proficiently.
Abby is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (Reg No 9452,) the Institute of Osteopathy and the Association of Animal Osteopaths.
Most horses at some point become unbalanced, their bodies can be put under strain or injured due to their training.
Don’t forget the Rider, their flexibility, strength and alignment are essential in smooth and effective riding.
